We just found out this week that our documentary film, Shielded Brutality, was awarded the Media Justice Fund grant from the Crossroads Fund in Chicago! This will be a huge asset in finishing the film and I can’t thank the people at Crossroads enough.

It’s been a very busy past few months. Much of August and September were spent filming interviews and events in Chicago, while October and November have involved working on fundraising. The vast majority of production is finished and it’s time to hole up in the editing bay and begin work on a rough cut of the film. It’s been a whirlwind the past few months and I realize the updates have been sparse at best. That will now be changing so please drop by periodically.
