I recently caught up with a couple of young Nashvillians who are combining their skills in business, education, and technology with a passion for social change. Their company, Alphabyte Technologies, is taking old, discarded computers, installing free, open-source software, and creating high-functioning computer labs for little to no investment. They hope their model will catch the attention of politicians and other decision makers within America’s education system.
